    Robots: types and characteristics

There are several types of robots:

    Surgical robots

Surgical robots are another branch of industrial robots. They often work on the same principle, that is to say they are in the form of mechanical arms coupled to a computer or articulated arms that are operated by the surgeon and whose movements are reproduced by the robot real time.

    Domestic robots

Domestic robots can do multiple tasks or simply entertain us. For example, the company Friendly Robotics has developed an automatic lawnmower that, on a given area, is able to avoid obstacles while cutting the grass. In entertainment, Sony has developed in 1999 a dog named Aibo robot. There have been three generations of Aibo. The latest version has several features such as: LCD, camera and voice recognition.

    Military Robots
Military robots are mainly used for monitoring both in the air and in the sea UCAV (Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle) is an American unmanned aircraft that is designed to monitor, identify, recognize or even destroy enemy targets . The first prototype measured seven meters and could embed a ton and a half of ammunition. The UUV (Unmanned Underwater Vehicles) are submarines that have approximately the same functions as the UCAV.

When we talk about robots, do not forget to mention the anthropomorphic robots (robots resembling humans) are probably the main motivation for robotics. These robots are equipped with bipedalism and are able to do things that only humans could do to this day. One of the biggest innovations in the field of robotics is probably humanoid robot Asimo (Avanced Step In Innovative Mobility) created by Honda. This robot is able to change its path by walking up and down stairs, recognize faces and understand human speech. The most recent version of Asimo can run at 6 km / h and can also perform the task as a receptionist or information guide. Asimo is a robot research and should report to eventually be able to help the disabled, elderly or sick.
    Robotic explorers

Explorers robots replace humans in difficult environments. The exploration of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was made by a robot. The exploration of space is getting increasingly by robots. In 1976, the Viking 1 probe landed on Mars and took the first pictures of the planet.

    Industrial Robots

Industrial robots are the first to be produced in large numbers and they are still the largest robotics population. According to the report prepared in late 2001 by the United Nations, there would be more than 750,000 industrial robots in the world. These robots are those who are especially on assembly lines. They are now used to manufacture almost all types of products, but they are mostly found in the automotive industry (about one robot for every ten workers). Welding robots, demolition, cleaning, packaging and monitoring are examples of industrial robots used today.

    1. Different types of used industrial robots available to buy but you need to choose it wisely as it is leading step to choose it beside this you can choose with the help from anyone who is proficient in this types of services.
